Farrier Work
"Having just moved down to the area from Virginia, I didn't know of a farrier, and my gelding was in need of getting his feet done. I'm very careful of who I have working on his feet as we've been fox hunters over the past several years. He's always had good feet, and I'd like to keep it that way. I asked around a few boarding barns and was given several names. I chose Savannah due to having the knowledge, skills, and experience as a farrier with exceptional schooling previously. She is also an advanced rider (h/j), which we have in common, so I knew that I would be getting good advice on caring after my gelding. From the time she walked in the barn, I could tell my horse, who is skeptical about trusting people, took to her right away and was well at ease. As we were talking and getting into more detail about my horse's hooves, I was confident in her knowing that each horse has its own particular needs, and that the hooves are the foundation of alignment, carriage, and movement. Overall, she ended up doing a really good job, and my horse and I were both quite pleased."

Riding Instruction
"My daughter has been riding for about 2 years now. We have ridden at four barns in the Hickory, Conover area. We were introduced to Savannah because of a scheduling conflict at our current barn. Which quickly turned into the most fortunate scheduling mistake I've ever had! Savannah is absolutely amazing! Savannah is attentive, kind, instructive, considerate, and above all knowledgeable and innovative. My daughter's favorite game Savannah plays is Simon Says. To my daughter it is just a fun game, but it isn't just a game. The game improves her balance in the saddle, confidence in her movements and reinstating core skills she needs to know when riding a horse. The games aside, she watches my daughter on the horse no matter the distractions that come with a busy barn. She goes above and beyond with safety, she will reschedule you if weather conditions are not safe to ride in (but she will get you in ASAP), and always makes sure my daughter is practicing safety when engaging with the horses, or chickens lol. My daughter absolutely loves her. We have had several trainers and have been to four barns like I stated. Savannah is the only trainer I would travel to any barn for, no matter the distance. I found Savannah by accident, and I'd choose her to train my daughter a million times over. "
